Insanely Fast Whisper provides all-around support for running OpenAI's Whisper speech recognition model in various settings with extreme performance optimization. It can transcribe 150 minutes 2.5 hours of audio in less than 98 seconds using Whisper Large v3. Originally created to showcase Transformers benchmarks, it has evolved into a lightweight CLI tool for high-speed audio transcription on NVIDIA GPUs and Mac.
