Mar Hershenson

Angel Investor. Focus: B2B; B2C; SaaS. Dr. Mar Hershenson serves as Founding Managing Partner at Pear Ventures. Dr. Hershenson previously founded Revel Touch and served as its Chief Executive Officer. Hershenson joined Foundation as an EIR in June 2010. Prior to that, Dr. Hershenson served as VP of Product Development at Magma Design Automation, which came via the acquisition of Sabio Labs. Dr. Hershenson was the the CEO and a Co-Founder of Sabio Labs, a mixed-signal EDA company. Prior to Sabio Labs, she was CTO and Co-Founder of Barcelona Design, where she commercialized her graduate research in the application of convex optimization to analog circuit design. She has also worked at Silicon Valley companies such as Linear Technology Corporation and Apple Computers. Dr. Hershenson holds a BS, MS, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
