David Pidwell

Angel Investor. Focus: B2B; B2C; SaaS. Dr. David Pidwell serves as Venture Partner at Alloy Ventures. He founded Rasna Corporation, a mechanical design automation software company financed by the partners at Alloy Ventures. He was president and chief executive officer until 1995 when Parametric Technology (NASDAQ: PMTC) acquired the firm. He received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and a master of science degree in computer systems engineering from Ohio University and completed three years of work at Stanford University on a doctorate in engineering economic systems. He was President and CEO until 1995 when Parametric Technology (Nasdaq: PMTC) acquired the firm. Prior to Rasna, Mr. Pidwell worked for ROLM Corporation for 14 years. He is currently a director of Ensenda, Xactly and Informatica.
