Antoine Blondeau

Angel Investor. Focus: B2B; B2C; SaaS. Mr. Antoine Blondeau is the Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Sentient Technologies. He started his career with the Tokyo representation of the French Industrial Development Agency where he negotiated a number of large Japanese technology investments in France. Antoine then moved to Nortel Networks where he managed the OEM and Asia/Pacific unit of the company's cellular handset business. Then, as president and COO of Zi Corporation, a NASDAQ-listed developer of intelligent user interface software, he engineered a turnaround and grew the company's market valuation to a high of $1.4 billion. Zi is now part of Nuance Communications. Antoine was subsequently appointed CEO of Dejima, Inc., a developer of distributed Artificial Intelligence software, which he sold to Sybase, Inc. (now SAP). Dejima was a core member of the consortium that developed the original Siri technology, now present in Apple's devices as a voice-activated virtual assistant.
