Amit Mital

Angel Investor. Focus: B2B; B2C; SaaS. Mr. Amit Mital serves as an Executive Officer and Chairman at Trusted Key. He also serves as an Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer and General Manager, Emerging Endpoints at Symantec. He serves as a Board Member of The Parents Union. He is responsible for driving the company's technology strategy with a focus on accelerating innovation, product development and R&D. Amit is also interim leader for the User Protection and Productivity (UP&P) organization. Amit joined Symantec after 20 years with Microsoft, most recently as the corporate vice president for the Startup Business Group, where he was responsible for managing strategic product development along with identifying and executing new innovation opportunities. He holds 43 patents, and is an innovator in several technologies that align with Symantec's business including machine learning, big data and high-scale web and cloud services. Amit holds a M.S. in Engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College.
