Alfred Lin

Angel Investor. Focus: B2B; B2C; SaaS. Mr. Alfred Lin serves as Partner at Sequoia Capital. Mr. Lin also serves as the Board Member at Shopular. He is also a member of the board for Romotive and Houzz. He serves as the works with consumer internet, enterprise and mobile companies. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2010, he was Chairman and COO/CFO of Zappos.com. Prior to Zappos.com, he was Vice President of Finance and Business Development of Tellme Networks (MSFT). Prior to this, he held positions of increasing responsibility at LinkExchange, most recently as the Vice President of Finance and Secretary. During his tenure at LinkExchange, Mr. Lin managed financial planning and analysis, cash reserves, two acquisitions, and the sale of the company to Microsoft Corporation. Under his financial management of over two and a half years, the company raised over $3.5 million in equity and over $1.0 million in debt financing. Mr. Lin received a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University in 1994, an M.S. in Statistics from Stanford University in 1996, and currently is a Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University. He is also a Board Member at Humble Bundle.
